Walker Bay Boat and Ski-boat Club is a unique and well positioned club, based within the New Harbor, Hermanus.
Membership is not just for the boater or sea fisherman, some of our most active members are in fact not boaters or fishermen. This said, there is something for almost everyone:
- Boat Yard (there is a waiting list).
- Club House that over looks the New Harbor and is a gathering place for members and their guests.
- Events – both boating/fishing and social related (book your own private event at the club house, as a club member).
- Boating and fishing advice
Lastly but not least, our club runs on trust. We do not have paid full time staff to do the huge amount of work involved in running the club. Maintenance, finance, security, bar, web site, communication and boat yard all for example require continuous attention. It is our honesty system and the involvement of all club members, not just the committee, that make it possible.

If an applicant has been convicted of any nature of crime or misdemeanour involving an element of dishonesty, a full disclosure thereof must appear on this application form in which event the Club retains the right to refuse the application without furnishing any reasons or grounds for its decision.
